Boycotting the Commercialism of Christmas.
What we mean by Boycott Christmas isn't the boycotting of the Christian holiday, but instead the way it has been turned into a way to feed the retail industry. Christmas has been turned into Santa, gifts and decorations. Almost everyone has lost sight to the fact that Christmas is supposed to be a holiday devoted to kindness and goodwill to all. No one these days knows what Christmas stands for, all they see is Santa and presents. Christmas is a Christian celebration, decending from the pagan Yule. Both are supposed to encourage kindness to your fellow persons. There's nothing wrong with giving people gifts for Christmas, but giving gifts to people you don't really care about is a waste. Buying trees every year, putting up millions of lights and decorations, and buying enough food to feed a small country is ridiculous, unless of course you do plan to feed a small country.
